I’m a postdoctoral researcher at Texas A&M University working on understanding the connections of stars and the gas that surrounds them.  I’m a part of the JWST TEMPLATES team working with lensed galaxies trying to understand star formation from low to high redshifts (1 < z < 4).

I did my Ph.D. at The Ohio State University with Laura Lopez as my advisor.  While I was there I studied the evolution of feedback in HII regions, from ultracompact HII regions to the largest regions in the Magellanic Clouds, and with Danielle Berg on extreme UV emitting galaxies.  I did my undergraduate degrees at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.  I did a dual degree and received a B.S. in both Astronomy and Physics as well as obtaining a minor in Classics.

I originally hail from Okemos, MI, where I was in the high school choir, on the Science Olympiad team, and worked in the local library.

My main research interests at the moment include: star formation, the feedback related to these star forming processes, massive stars, ionized gas properties, and local analogues of the first galaxies.
